In September 2015, Michael Keiser, owner of Bandon Dunes golf resort, announced he was ending his effort to acquire 280 acres of Bandon State Natural Area for his sixth golf course. ORCA has opposed this deal from the beginning, tracked its progress over the last four years, and spoke out in opposition to it constantly. We are very pleased that Bandon State Natural Area is saved, and will remain in public hands as part of the cherished inheritance of all Oregonians.
